Only way to get the dead to shut up was to bury them but the limbs would sometimes slither away and one would have to put a lot of effort into calling out for the soldier's name whose limb is trying to escape the grasp; There was barely any time to question what happened to all these people- The living just wanted a silence for once and that's how they were stuck in the same spot for months while losing their memories until there was only self-imposed objective that they hallucinated to themselves;

And after a significant amount of time had passed, Raul was first to give into insanity while alive and attempted to gouge both of his eyes out; and other squadmates frankly lost their shit over this; He managed to fully damage his one eye and then attempted to kill a guy who tried to restrain him as he was about to do the same thing to his other eye;

His little insanity stunt managed to get people to sober to get out of the self-manifested trap as soon as possible but it cost him his bond with his squadmates; He was almost put under tribunal under false charge of him causing death of others once others learned of his squad's predicament;

As the war neared its end Raul was considered unreliable to continue serving which made him spend time working as a nurse; No one came checking on him while he was at the lowest thinking his other siblings are dead;

FSTR is a refined gourmet when it comes to food; they prefer flavorful and savory dishes that could last them throughout the day which means a lot of effort and care should be put in anything you present for them to eat; otherwise your attempt at wooing them will be met with life-long ridicule

They feel neutral towards anything bland or raw, fruits and vegetables are okay; sweet cherries are their favorite one though

Also they don't like bitter things like coffee, if they ever receive one they'd have to toss it or let someone else deal with it

KPGR has rather weak tastebuds and strong stomach and liver, therefore they can eat anything without any severe consequences for their health. Though main problem is that every food they come across doesn't have nutritional value that would match their bodily needs; poorly maintained KPGR will always die of starvation

So to keep them alive and close to Empire they are supplied with tasteless tofu-like jelly packed with protein and other necessary compounds; a spoon of which could kill a gestalt or smaller replika because of how densely nutritious it is

As for food and taste preferences other than standard jelly slop, they like oranges and other types of fruits with strong flavor; any strongly flavored dish could also do the magic if you want them to like you

BKNR are not picky! Because being picky means being ungrateful and they have to be anything but that. Thankfully the glorious Empire supplies them with food made of finest ingredients that certainly do not exist in Nation.
