Her hand is draped over you like a weighted blanket, her thumb gingerly tracing circles along your back.

Laying on her chest, right above her heart, you slowly rise and fall with every steady breath she takes.

Harmonizing with the rhythm of her heartbeat, she hums a soft lullaby; a wordless melody that sends vibrations through your entire body.

Every single ache and fear and worry fades away, leaving nothing but warmth and comfort in its place.

You’re safe.

No one can hurt you.
