The man shrugged and turned a little to lean up against a nearby building. “Aw, you know how it is. Built by a greedy, soulless multi-million dollar corporation and not some respectable big-name roboticist? Well, people are bound to treat ya like a fancy toy or a kitchen gadget with legs. No respect, I tell ya!”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.”

Clawed hands still up, no sudden movement, just keep talking, and nobody will get hurt. Granted, at any moment this could easily go belly-up if she kept on running her mouth about other things. “I don’t want anything, can’t say the same about the rest of the.. Gang. As uncoordinated, and constantly at eachother’s throats as they are. Realistically though. They really don’t care about attacking Earth at this point, because all of their focus at this point is on getting ontop of eachother for petty things, and nearly killing eachother because of that.” Breathe in. Breathe out. No comment about the sheer amount of destruction her and her colleagues have caused–even if Pluto herself was located far out in the backwaters of the Solar System.

Something about her words held truth- but he was still tense. However, everyone deserved the right to change, right? Maybe this was a turning point for her, and the others.

He slowly lowered his weapon, but was visibly tense. The strength of the Stardroids he knew was still fresh on his mind.

well, that was quite refreshing for her to encounter someone not pulling a second thought on her via fighting! most of her encounters were following a similar pattern and often ends up with her kicking butt of the other .. then again, this was the heroine of earth she’s talking to, he could defeat her if he could.

“ none  o’  tha’  really.  I  was  actually  headin’ off  t’  get  sum  food  fer  mah  self!  not  in  thi’  form  obviously,  ya  don’t  gotta  tell  me  kiddo, I  already  hav’  an  ideal  ‘r  two  bout  how  peopl’  do  feel  ‘bout  it. ”

her hand was swaying left and right in a denial type of motion, with her head titled to the side. she might be quite of a reckless persona and being off this planet for a year doesn’t help much on her case. But, if there’s one thing she knows for sure is what consequences waiting her if the authorities were to find about her W’s.

 “  Name’s  Comet Woman  by  th’  way! code SWN - 009  I  was  built  wit’  astronomical  speed  t’  pass  slowpokes  lik’  Quick  Man  an’  high intelligence  t’  learn  boutta  inner geological  studies  of  planets!  I  rathe’  live  wit’  wha’  I  have  gotten  till  mah  core  goes  scrappled.  though,  I  appreciate  th’  offer  kiddo.   ”

“Oh, you’ve got a second form? I do too, kinda. I just...” He took off his helmet, “Have to take off my armour. I don’t wear it much lately but I thought I’d do a little patrolling, make sure everything’s safe and all that. But Wily’s been quiet so I’ve basically been on vacation.” Something about her put him at ease- hardly her appearance, but something about a robot that actually renounced Wily... It was everything he could have hoped for from the Wilybots in general,. It made him happy.

Oh stars, did he believe him?

“Oh yeah, man. It’s a brand new thing they’re doing. I mean, like, new new. You prob'ly never even heard of it before now. I’m one of the test models, ya see. The big wigs are makin’ sure I get along nicely with regular folk before they go into full-scale production.”

“Oh wow, that’s pretty cool.” Yep, he fell for it hook line and sinker. He really had no reason not to believe this stranger. Even if strangers were usually trouble, this one seemed nice enough.

“Oh my- I’m sorry I didn’t say hello, I didn’t see you!“ And there Celerity goes, surprised out of her waltz out in town by a little voice from somewhere just outside of her normal range of vision. She quickly spun around to face the source, waving right back with a cheerful smile and a chirp of “Helloooooo!’

“I’m DGN-006, Celerity woman! Just Celerity is fine!” The aforementionned speedbot chirped, before looking down to the child’s fluffy head, resisting the urge to bow her legs. Or pat the fluffy mop of brown hair he was boasting. “I don’t think I’ve seen before you either!”

Rock was happy to see that this strange robot was so... cheerful. It was a nice change of pace. Not that the robots around him were gloomy, just that whenever he met a stranger they usually turned out to be trouble.

Aaand there it was, a head pat. A little embarrassing, but he didn’t comment on it directly.

Brave looked the stranger up and down with an unreadable expression. Looked like a kid, maybe in Anti’s age range. Looking a little more carefully, he could tell that this was no average boy. His eyes were all wrong.

Ah! This must be one of those robots that Bravoman babbles on about! Heh. Brave had never been mistaken for being a robot himself, before.

“… Walmart.”

“...Walmart?” Sure, he’d heard of Walmart. But Walmart didn’t make robots, as far as he knew. Was that a new venture they were getting into? Was robotics becoming more accessible?

And no, Rock was no average boy. His eyes glowed faintly, and had those little lines in them that showed they were a like a screen.

Pluto put her clawed hands up in a surrender gesture. Granted, if she wanted to go in for an attack, she easily could–but it wouldn’t be worth it. Not at this time. “Easy, easy. I’m not gonna hurt you.” “There’s a time, and place to talk about the circumstances regarding death. And the multiverse. And whatever comes with it.” “And it’s a fair assumption that now? It isn’t the time for that.” The award of ‘most unnecessary witty comments in a confrontation that could very well become heated in an instant’ would go to Pluto at the moment. Not a common award given to her, but the point still stands noneoftheless.

The multiverse? What? He was caught off guard for a minute, but didn’t lose his focus. And, notably, he didn’t lower his weapon- but he didn’t shoot, either. He wasn’t going to let her catch him off guard. 

well, she can’t say that she didn’t saw that coming, being accused by those letters was kinda a thing she would to suspect on any encounter. however, the speedster lady didn’t seem panic. she simply crossed her hands behind her back, head titled to the side with bland expression.

“   ..I  might  be  created  by  big  baldybigpubestash  but,  I  ain’t  workin’  fer  him  kiddo,  tha’s  fer  dam’  sure.  atleast  most  ‘f  th’  SWNs  don’t. ”

quite .. of a bizarre approach from what is a supposed to be a wily number .. Is it even possible for Wily to have a traitors on his back? then again, why a Wily Robot will lie about such thing ..?

Megaman really had no reason to believe her. Wilybots were known to do anything to further their master’s ends. But, usually that involved fighting him. And for her to not only fail to mention fighting but to also renounce Wily altogether... it just seemed more than anything he would have suspected from a lying Wilybot. Something about the situation just made him think she really was telling the truth.

“Well... if you’re not here to fight me, then what are you here for? I can’t imagine you’d come out of hiding or wherever you were just to talk. You might also want to see about getting rid of Wily’s mark, you could get into some serious trouble.”

“  heh.. ” she snarks, her cyan eyes gazing at the other before being shut on instant, her finger rubbing on her nose while her open hand were to land on her chest.  “ ya betcha am kiddo! thes’ armors ain’t just a thin’ t’ be rebuild by pur’ fleshbags, y’kno?~  ”

that statement was bit of an exaggeration if anything with all the Ws on her armors.. although, she seemed to take that compliment very well either way. good for him perhaps!

cue her laying the other hand down, cyan eyes reopening and gazing at the blue bomber.

“  how  hav’  ya  been  holdin’,  RockMan? ”

“I guess my reputation precedes me if you already know who I am.” It made sense- he was pretty famous for saving the world. So many strangers knowing his name though, he wasn’t sure he’d ever get used to it.

“Wait a minute..” Those W’s... now that his initial awe had calmed down, he saw them- and backed up a bit. “You’re a Wilybot!” He accused, pointing a finger. “Has Wily sent you after me?” It had been nice to not worry about Wily since he’d seemed to take a hiatus from trying to take over the world, but it would seem that his ‘vacation’ time was up now.

“Woah, you look straight from outer space!” He gawked, fixated on her bright colours and voluminous hair. “Um, in a good way, I mean.” He added upon realizing what he’d said could be construed as an insult.
