my love and admiration for tomato frogs knows no bounds! they are native to Madagascar and are big time tropical cuties who get their name from their orange and red coloring and round bodies making them look like tomatoes <3

they have epic defense mechanisms - they have pockets on either side of their body they can swell up making them appear larger and more threatening (bottom left pic)

they also secrete a toxic white fluid from their skin that can numb and/or paralyze the mouth of a predator trying to snack (badass)

Native to Vietnamese, these babes can be found in mossy caves and around the banks of rocky mountain streams!

I’m a huge fan of frogs, but one of my favorites has to be the glass frog !!
