“Well, clearly these Crimson Allies are the problem,” Ivy huffed as she reached for the requested plate. “The Death Eaters were quiet until they showed up and started poking at them.”

“Well they probably feel an injustice has been made,” she replied. “I’m not defending their actions but they could just be feeling hurt. I mean the death eaters,or who ever they follow, killed people, before that death eaters killed muggles and muggleborns for just their blood status. It’s not a surprise that they woke up the bear. they probably want to poke it, to kill it. Not that I’m condoning killing. Do not kill. Killing is bad.”

Malia walked through the cold after a night of taking photos. She had lost track of time and knew she needed to get home. As she walked she noticed one place with a light on. She went to the door and saw Honor so she knocked. “Oh, come on let your former Hufflepuff friend end. Besides it’s freezing out here.”

Honor sighed and opened the door for Malia. “You know Mal, you’d think you’d learn our closing time.”

“Oh really?” He replied with a sigh. “Damn. I was really looking forward to a muffin.”

“I’m sorry,” she replied. “We close early today.”

“For all we know, the best is over and the worst is yet to come.”

“Yeah, that’s what I’m worried about,” Honor replied as she was cleaning the Red Fern for closing. “Can you hand me that plate off that table?”

“Honestly? I haven’t the slightest. At least you have it back, right?”

“Very true,” she replied. She pulled out a gift from her own bag, handing it to Wesley. “Merry Christmas, Wes. I also have some gluten free cookies for Laurel too, if you want to bring them to her.”

“Oh please,” Indigo replied, waving the compliment away, “You’d do the same for me.”

“Oh, I have a present for you,” she replied. She grabbed the gift from beneath the counter. “I hope you like it, you’re honestly so hard to shop for.”

“Now that you mention it… I’m not sure where it is. I’m sure a summoning charm will find it no time.”

Honor laughed. “You’re so weird,” she replied. “Oh I have something for you.” Honor said, looking underneath the counter and pulling out the present for Dakota, handing it to her. “Happy holidays.”

“Weirdly enough, I found it in my bag?”

“Oh that’s weird, why was it in there?”

“You left it back at the flat,” Indigo explained, handing it back to Honor. “I found it when I called you and it rang in the next room.”

“Oh my God,” she said. “You are the best roommate ever.”

“Funny story! I mistook it for my own,” Dakota admitted sheepishly, handing Honor back her phone. “I’m sorry I’m a total spaz.”

Honor laughed. “You totally are. Do you have yours?” she asked.

Ivy shrugged. “I don’t know. We’ll just walk until we see a shop we like.”

“You really do that?”

“Since I can’t seem to find my sister anywhere, her loss is your gain.” Ivy pulled the other girl out of her chair as she spoke. “Get up. We’re going shopping.”
