Omgomgomg ok so pentagon’s new album is unlike anything I’ve ever heard so far in kpop like????? When they said it was gonna blow our mind well my mind is SHATTERED IN A THOUSAND PIECES they completely reinvented themselves but it’s still so them at the same time? Like after a note we can already tell which songs are kino’s or wooseok’s or shinwon’s but you can definitely tell their stylé have massively matured. I love that they moved away from the usual verse pre-chorus chorus verse bridge, they completely deconstructed everything we were expecting and I went WTF so many times for each of their songs. And don’t even get me started on their vocals. Unlike so many songs the high notes and adlibs weren’t there just to demonstrate they can go high like bitch who doesn’t know that they’re confident in their abilities enough for not going overboard with random high notes, everything had a purpose (THE GAME OMG????) and some of the songs were even on the lower range and god it suits them so well??? Anyways I’m just rambling at this point but yeah in:vite u album of the century that’s it
