ANYWAY, onto the scenario

-This boy is the most precious boy in the world u can’t convince me otherwise

-I also feel like he’d be very shy around you at first yfm???

-Not in bad way he just isn’t used to having you around the dorms

-Unlike all the other boys who would LOVE to do skinship with you around the dorms

-Jeongin is much more,,,,, reserved ??? Jk he’s just too shy to do anything

-Like it’d take him FOREVER to even hold your hand whenever you’re together much less in front of the boys

-He’s still young lbr here, he probably doesn’t have a lot of experience

-So it takes the two of you a while before you initiate skinship etc

-Though,,, once you’re more comfortable around each other and the boys Jeongin really really loves to hold your hand

-Very gently though bc he gets too worried if his hands are sweaty or he’s gripping too tightly

-He does love playing with your hands though (which the boys find ADORABLE)

-Like you could be sat watching a film or talking to one of the boys about something and Jeongin is sat next to you, your hand is on his lap and he’s playing with your fingers and it’s honestly the CUTEST thing ever that the boy you’re talking too can’t help but smile at the image

-Can you imagine him falling asleep on your shoulder or on your lap after a hard day of practice bc I can

-He wouldn’t mean to but he’s just so tired and you’re warm and your voice is really soothing that he just nods off and u giggle bc HECK he’s so soft and precious

-100% freaks out when he wakes up bc he’s so embarrassed and ur like Jeongin pls it’s okay and he’s like “nonononono we were supposed to be watching a film and I fell asleep”

-He pouts a lot when he’s embarrassed and u can’t help but giggle again bc he’s so darn cute

-I mean the only way to get him to stop pouting is when u press a shy kiss to his forehead bc then he’s the giggly mess

-For some reason I have a feeling the two of you would watch conspiracy theories and unsolved mysteries when you hang out at the dorms together

-Okay maybe you end up staying the night bc you were both too freaked out to be alone and Jeongin didn’t want you to walk home when he knew you were kinda scared

-And maybe he asked Chan, with a brilliant red blush all across his face, if you could stay the night and honestly Chan was trying to be the stern parent but seeing how cute and blushy he was ofc he agreed

-(And he also wasn’t going to let you walk home when it was dark and you were scared no child of his will do that, not on his watch)

So Jeongin lends you some of his clothes and he thinks it’s ADORABLE the way the sleeves flop over your hands and the two of you are wearing matching pink pyjamas okay y’all are too cute okay

-You both end up falling asleep on the sofa and Chan and Woojin don’t have the heart to move you so they drag all of Jeongin’s blankets and drape them over the two of you and reposition your heads so they won’t end up hurting the next day

-(I have a theory: Jeongin owns a lot of blankets that he loves to wrap around himself and make a tent with on his bed so he can watch his favourite animations in peace)

-When you do end up waking up the next day little did you know that ALL OF THE BOYS have taken photos of you both bc heck that’s their maknae and his s/o looking ADORABLE how could they not

-When Jeongin finds out he SCREAMS and chases all of his hyungs around the dorm (Chan was the only one that was allowed to keep the photos, after much negotiation from Jeongin)

-When I say he chased them,,,,, he ran for about 10 seconds before he fell over bc this boy is so clumsy it’s a wonder he can dance as well as he can

-Like you’re so confused as to how he’s so clumsy as you watch him fall in slow motion as he’s trying to chase Jisung

-Half the time you wonder how he actually manages to not break a bone or a glass

-It’s bc the boys dote on him a lot and honestly he needs it bc otherwise he’d be a human disaster

-Like they’d always almost baby proof the dorm so there’s no sharp corners or things left on the edges of tables and counters so he won’t knock them off

-Which you think is ADORABLE much to Jeongin’s chagrin bc Y/N I’M NEARLY AN ADULT I DON’T NEED THIS STUFF

-Jeongin you literally tripped over your own feet and smacked your head on the table which if it wasn’t taken care of you’d be in hospital

-…… Okay maybe you’re right

-“Dates” with Jeongin would normally consist of him sneaking money out of Chan’s wallet and dragging you to the nearest convenience store so you can gorge yourselves on ramen and sweets and maybe you come back on a bit of a sugar high and Chan is like oh that’s where my money went huh??

-You both at least have the decency to be a bit abashed but Chan just ruffles both of your hairs and pinches your cheeks and just tells you to ask him next time

-Anything for his favourite kids :’)

-So we know Jeongin loves singing trot?? And just signing in general

-He would NEVER sing in front of you but if you happened to fall asleep on him,,,, he’d definitely sing to you

-The only reason he began to sing in front of you was bc you’d actually woken up to Jeongin singing at you and you SHOT UP and Jeongin was so flustered but u were like pls sing for me more and don’t be embarrassed you’re really good

-Be if there’s one thing this boy kinda lacks,,, it’s confidence

-He’s just a baby and he thinks he isn’t very good

-You, obviously, know this to be false news and you always sing with him to make him feel better no matter how good or bad your voice sounded but you just wanted Jeongin to be happier and more confident with his singing

-Chan definitely recorded the two of you singing together once be he thought it was the most adorable thing esp when you both kept laughing whilst you were singing so it was going off key but you were both so happy to just be with each other that it didn’t matter

-ANYWAY

-Y’all are just the softest and cutest couple to exist, filled with gummy smiles, too much sugar, shy hand holding and even shyer kisses pressed to foreheads or cheeks or noses

It was always strange to think about the concept of willing yourself to have a good day. There are people that claim that when one wakes up, they need to begin with a positive mindset. Positive mindsets pave the way for a good day, those people claim. However, there are a separate group of people who feel like those optimists… are a little bit twisted in their logic, because there are obviously other deciding factors. What about inevitable events, events that one can’t control and that can ultimately influence how a day unravels itself? Positive mindsets are not the key to having a good day. Well, that was you relatively believed in your experiences. Until there came a day where you did, in fact, have hope that perhaps luck was on your side.

It was a Thursday, a gloomy one at that. But like any other rain lover, you were ecstatic to feel the electric air once you stepped out the front door, your smile beaming in contrast to the gray day. You quickly spun on your heels and returned back inside, retrieving your umbrella and heading out on your merry way. You continued the walk to your class, a slight bound in your step as you glanced up at the sky once in a while. Your favorite day was Thursdays, and your favorite weather was rain, so perhaps that was a good sign the day may turn out good. It was the first time in a while that you had a good feeling.
