I’m so sick of bigotry in the trans community and people pointing out misogyny/racism/classism etc. being the ones blamed for causing division and infighting and not the bigoted people who are ruining trans solidarity. I still do not understand why it is worse for me to say “Don’t be a misogynistic asshole to your trans sisters.” than for other trans men to be misogynists. Being exclusionary to each other hampers us more than asking each other to do better. Members of our community sharing concerns and teaching each other to be better allies is not what is destroying us, it is defensiveness and exclusion.

oversharing online is so important cus like what if someone needed to know that

i genuinely try to stay compose and not tweak out over it but it's so discouraging that people only want to interact with us black people and our issues from a 10 ft pole while claiming to be our allies. it's performativity like that that gets us put in danger + drowns our voices out, it's why I keep asking y'all to boost black voices. not just mine, but the black people around you. especially your friends or family.
