the rest of their abductions are Noelle acting on her feelings of desperately having to get out of this town -- Kris is in some twisted way enabling her to "help" other people with this new power, or perhaps make a new life on the other side of the lake by taking some key people: their closest friends and family, and some kind of security/guard/protector situation (Undyne)

"Friend" can be explicitly antagonistic to time travelers, is hanging around in the periphery because some version of Kris is going to mess with everything
