Hi! I’m actually really glad you asked because I’ve been wanting to say something. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s good news.

I’ve lost a lot of interest in Stranger Things as a whole, partially because i’m really close with a lot of the crew for season 5 and also, mostly, because of the actions of certain cast members.

I honestly still haven’t even seen season 5 😬

talking about what you said about leaving comments and talking to you more - i've never really comments because i prefer being anon but does it make a difference to you? ive thought about it before but never really been sure if one feels more valuable than the other to an author, what would you prefer? would anon asks be better if i signed off with smthn to let you know i come back here and to clue you in on which asks are mine? does it make a difference?

I personally don’t mind anyone being on anon. I know a lot of people like reblogs and those are nice to boost posts but I really love hearing what people think. Even if they want to yell at me for angst lol so anon messages are always welcome!!

I know i’m needy, like really I do (i would talk to my therapist but i live in america and can’t afford it anymore)

But my point is! Idk if fic readers understand how important comments are to some writers. I’ve seen some fic authors talk about how they will write anyway cause it’s for them. Tbh i write for myself all the time. I have 60+ unfinished fics that i’ve written for myself but sharing is something that is so stressful and so personal…

One single comment can change the game. One single reply. Sometimes I feel like i’m talking to a wall and it is so frustrating. I just want engagement. I want a key smash. I want you to write a line that you liked in the comments. I don’t care what it is. But i will not lie, seeing only likes on my fics is really disheartening. It feels like no one cares.

Sometimes I post random shit on here and I want to talk to y’all. I want to get to know you! But all I get is likes on a fic I finished months ago. I’m just tired.

Again. This is me. This is my opinion. Not every writer needs validation to keep writing but that doesn’t mean we don’t want it
