A hearty and comforting beef stew cooked slowly in a savory broth until the meat is tender and the flavors are rich.
Ingredients: 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed. 4 potatoes, peeled and diced. 3 carrots, sliced. 1 onion, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 4 cups beef broth. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon pepper. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary. 1 bay leaf.
Instructions: In a small bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Coat beef cubes with flour mixture. Place coated beef cubes, potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients in the slow cooker. Add dried thyme, dried rosemary, and bay leaf to the slow cooker. Stir to combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beef and vegetables are tender.
