You mean, love in any form? No, I donât think itâs possible. Itâs possible to live without tenderness (Iâm not one of the people who would handle it, but I guess itâs possible) but love in the wider senseâŚno, I donât think so. People with cold hearts surely experience themselves in terms of the world but I donât think they experience lifeâs fullness/wholeness nor have the ability to connect with their fellow human beings and that makes them suffocatingly isolated and not open or receptive. And a certain deadness of the spirit comes along with all that, Idk. I mean, surely, they might âexistâ but âto existâ has nothing to do with actual living. Living involves warmth imo, thatâs all. Warmth, clarity of perception, the privilege of experiencing yourself, owning yourself as well as sharing that self of yours. You can still be alone or feel alone but as long as you can embody your own being and find meaning in everything that has an impact on your soul, that means youâre alive. And that means youâre still learning and allowing yourself to experience your emotions regarding the world, regarding the people who matter to you etc. But yeah, thatâs just me and my definition of living.
