ironstrange/supreme fam fic idea set in spider-man far from home.
Short description: Tony is not dead but his soul/ghost is floating out there. He's following Peter around and tries to warn him about Beck but he can't get through. So he asked Strange for help. After that, they all set to know what really happened to Tony Stark after he supposedly died.
Long description: Where in Tony's 'ghost' follows Peter around and was shouting his ghostly guts out to warn Peter about Beck being a suspicious figure, but of course Peter can't see or hear him. Peter's spidey senses might have pick up but it's faint. (For the sake of this fic, Tony and Pepper's relationship is same as during the civil war, they are not together but still best friends, and there's no Morgan. In his ghostly form, Tony remembers his snap, then darkness, then waking up in some compound but no one seems to see or hear him. He was in a dream like state, presumably walking or floating aimlessly, until he found Peter).
Anywayyy back on the scene. When Tony realized how bad the situation is escalating, he think of anyone else who can help. It doesn't help that Beck's supposed superpowers are like magic and he has a cape too, because Tony's mind only drifted to a certain wizard.
"I mean, he did have a magic carpet, and technically lives in a haunted house, he can probably see ghosts too."
In this parts, it'll be fun if he'll try a bunch of ghost stuffs like "how to move things as a ghost" or "how to teleport overseas as a ghost". (If you've watched Supernatural, remember that episode where Sam and Dean became a ghost and tried these stuffs?? That's my reference here lol)
I haven't think about the technicalities here, but it also would be fun if Tony will appear on a situation where Strange is fighting off some creature, and he was shock seeing Tony's ghost and ended up getting punched by the creature. (Fury did said that Stephen was unavailable during that time so this scene would justify why he was unavailable). Plus it'll be funnier if Wong is there too and will shoot those judgemental looks towards Stephen because Wong can't see Tony's ghost (we can brush this off as Stephen and Tony having a bond or something, that's why Wong can't see Tony's ghost. Like he can only feel something cause he's a sorcerer but he didn't know it's Tony Stark).
But also, an alternative scene where Stephen was just in his astral form at the sanctum and Tony's ghost will just appear out of nowhere, walking like he own the place, can work as well. And it can set a rule that Stephen only see ghosts when he is in his astral form (but Stephen having a third eye is also fine too).
Theeen once they settled the thing with Beck, Peter will undergo some meditation to focus his senses or something like that, so that he can feel the presence of Tony. Like he still can't see and hear Tony, but knows he's there.
Stephen will say that Tony is not really a ghost. It seems like Tony is just in his astral form, but each day he spent away from his body, his link gets weaker and he might die for real (if you've watched Insidious, yeah that's the same concept Im getting here). And then this brings the question. "How are you not dead? We were at your funeral."
So someone faked Tony Stark's death and is hiding him somewhere. (Remember when Fury faked his death? Im thinking that the culprit used the same method somehow). But for what reason? And how can they get him back? (Im really asking these because I haven't think this far yet)
Idk if I'll do this, Im too lazy to actually write the whole thing. If anyone have ever done something like this pls drop recommendations!!
