Just a little away from the hype of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, Sushi Row became a worldwide culinary destination and hotspot for industry meetings.
In LA, even deciding where to grab sushi can lead you down a little rabbit hole of local history. In 1979 a variety of intersecting reasons brought sushi "over the hill" from glitzy, glamourous LA to the more simplistic Valley. And the area has never looked back. We've been fortunate enough to hit half dozen places here, including the originator, Teru!
