Silent Salt always had a soft heart. Despite the intimidating armour and the fierce battles he'd one, he's the type of person who would always pet a cake hound if he saw one or give a horse a treat after a successful mission. Unexpectedly, that didn't completely disappear after his corruption.

So when he saw White Lily, who seemed to always have an expression akin to a dejected kitten, he couldn't bring himself to cause her harm. He couldn't raise his sword to someone so fragile (or so he thinks lol).

Slowly, he walked towards her and couldn't help but notice how tense she was. Though, he couldn't blame her, he knew how he looked and he always had that effect on other cookies, especially those smaller than him.

"Silent Salt Cookie?" Her gentle voice called out to him, but she received no response. She was obviously concerned about his intentions yet she didn't attack first. He respected that.

He kept getting closer until he was at arm's reach. She obviously wouldn't trust anything he said and he was a firm believer in actions speaking louder than words, so he placed a hand on her shoulder. The gasp she let out was barely audible, but even without it, he could feel her tense. To try to calm her down, he rubbed her back, a bit too softly, and he heard something unexpected.

- "Ehehe-"

White Lily quietly giggled before slapping her hand over her mouth. Both cookies stood in silence, as if registering what just happened.

White Lily didn't know how she could tell, whether it was their link or something in the air had changed, when his helmet tilted to the side there was something mischievous about it. Like any cookie with survival instincts, she bolted with him right on her tail.

There weren't many places to run, so she and Silent Salt just ended up running in circles while she narrowly dodged his pounces while trying not to giggle in anticipation. The worst thing is, she knew he was playing with her. He is a warrior and could definitely catch someone like her. She felt phantom tickles spread over her body as she imagined the Beast giving up at any moment and just going for it.

Eventually, her long dress and cape proved to be a liability as he stepped on one of them and started falling. She tensed and braced for impact, but it never came. Instead, she felt a pull on her cape. Silent Salt had saved her. Well, before pulling her into him and sitting down with her in his lap. He'd won.

Without hesitation, he grabbed her hips and started carefully squeezing them. He knew exactly where to target.

"Hehehehe~ Nohohoho!" She half heartedly whines and covers her face, obviously embarrassed by the tickling but also because of how easy it was to get her laughing. Although, she makes no actual effort to stop them.

"So weak. Cute." That comment made White Lily's face light ablaze as the blush reached her ears, which made Silent Salt chuckle. He didn't mean to tease, it was a genuine comment, but if it worked as such he would definitely use it to his advantage.

"Such an adorable reaction. Are you embarrassed?" Another tease made the tickling so much worse. The more she flushed, the more she could feel every horrible gentle, ticklish squeeze on her hips. Then, something even worse happened.

*Squeak*

Due to her face being covered, she couldn't see where Silent Salt would attack which left her completely vulnerable when he moved to her waist, lightly pinching and scratching at random intervals. Her thin dress did nothing to protect her from the more intense sensation. The mixture of the worse spot and the surprise forced a squeak.

Silent Salt stopped for a moment. That was probably the cutest sound he ever heard. Next to the laughter of his friends he kept in a distant memory. It made him feel giddy. He needed to hear it again. In a burst of cuteness aggression, his hands descended once more. This time moving much more rapidly, but not any rougher.

"Ahahaha- *squeak* Wahahaihit- *squeak* Thahahat tihihickles- *squeak*" White Lily once again fell into a stream of helpless giggles, occasionally interrupted by the squeaks her ler loved so much. They encouraged him to keep going until it was obvious she needed a break, so he gave her one.

Once she could, she greedily took in breaths and tried to ignore the phantom tickles, albeit unsuccessfully. She tried to move her hands from her face but one look at Silent Salt watching her made her put them back. What made her embarrassment so much worse was that she was disappointed that he stopped. He was so gentle and the compliments made her feel so special... She was having fun.

Worried that her face would explode, Silent Salt didn't pull her up on it. Of course, he could tell, she wasn't as subtle as she thought. His fingers were itching to return to her ticklish skin, but he restrained himself because of where he planned to go next.

"Ahahre- Ahahare yohou dohone?" White Lily finally built up the courage to speak, trying her best to cover up whatever emotions would embarrass her more.

"Not at all. I'm only waiting for my sweet lee to prepare for my next attack." She couldn't help the flustered whine that left her lips. To his surprise, she spoke again.

"Ihi... Ihihi aham rehehahady..." She mumbled into her hands. He was honestly impressed that she admitted that, so he would reward her. He suddenly flipped her over to get easy access to her back and moved one hand under her cape to carefully draw random shapes everywhere he could reach. He focused more on the back of her ribs, which seemed to be the area where he got the most frantic giggles. He stayed away from her spine for now, it was for the finale.

"Pft- Ehehehehe! *squeak* Thahahats- *squeak* Hahahaha!" She could barely speak between her squeaks and giggles, she laughed more freely now that her hands weren't over her face. Instead, she was hugging herself, as if trying to protect herself from the tickles, despite her not even covering the right area.

"Aw~ Is this spot bad? You seem very capable, so I'm sure you can handle it." Another compliment, another squeak. She really couldn't handle nice things being said about her, but Silent Salt really enjoyed saying them. Not only were her reactions so cute, but he genuinely meant them and believed that she deserved to hear every last one.

He listened to her giggles like music for a bit, but he wanted more. He wanted her to turn to mush in his arms. So, he delivered the final blow. Continuing his tickles with his hands, he moved his other hand to her spine, slowly tracing his finger up and down.

"AH! *squeak* NOHOHOT THEHEHERE! *squeak* IHIT'S SOHO BAHAHAD!" She let out a shriek before dissolving into hysterical laughter. Silent Salt was surprised to receive such a big reaction from such a small movement, but he wasn't complaining. To make this better, he alternated between dragging his finger and skittering his fingers. She started laughing so hard, she couldn't even speak.

"Tickle~ Tickle~ Tickle~ Laugh for me, lovely." One last tease drove her over the edge. She completely lost herself in the relentless tickles and just let herself enjoy it, relaxing her arms and not restraining her laughter (Although she wasn't doing a good job at it anyway).

Silent Salt kept going until he could see that White Lily had enough. He stopped and held her in his arms, rubbing her head to calm her down.

The lee in question curled in on herself, hugging herself again and giggling at the remaining phantom tickles. They were persistent and felt like they were wrecking her on their own. When calm enough, she curled into Silent Salt, having had her energy taken by the previous attack.

"You okay?"

"Yehehahah... Thahank yohohuhu..." She mumbled as she fell asleep in his arms.

Well wasn’t this a predicament? None other than Licorice Cookie was standing before the Golden Sovereign herself. She requested a necromancer, so the cheesebirds did the only natural thing they could think of and… uh… “acquired” one. It was a compliment, sure, to be considered good enough for a mission of this importance. However, it didn’t erase that he served Dark Enchantress Cookie and she despised that woman.

“This was the best you could do? Bringing me a servant of Dark Enchantress Cookie?” Golden Cheese Cookie asked, her arms crossed over her chest as she addressed the cheesebird.

“W-We couldn’t find anyone else, Your Radiance. Chirp!” The cheesebird replied “As far as we chezbirdz are aware, he’s the only necromancer in the game. Chirp, chirp.”

“In the what?”

“Do not worry about it, Your Radiance. Chirp.”

Licorice Cookie was standing by awkwardly, feeling like he was a child seated in front of his arguing parents again. He waited for Golden Cheese Cookie to address him, and sort of hoped that she would just say “forget it” and let him go. Wait. No! He is good at his craft, this kidnapping was a blessing in disguise! Finally, someone would see his talents! But he couldn’t act desperate in front of Golden Cheese Cookie. No, no, that wouldn’t do. He’ll have to carry himself with a little extra pomp this time around.

As if on queue, the radiant Queen turned her attention to him. “So, can you do it?” She asked, her eyes flicked up and down his raggedy robes skeptically.

“I can!” Licorice Cookie proudly exclaimed, “However! I ask for a very steep price and-“, before he could finish his sentence, Golden Cheese Cookie tossed down a few solid golden coin onto the table. “I can pay it, whatever it may be.” She said, feeling a bit smug. “Your Soul Jam?” He offered, a Cheshire grin on his face, “Nice try.” The Queen said back. Licorice Cookie snapped his fingers with mock defeat “Then I guess I can’t do it-“ as he tried to walk away, Golden Cheese Cookie grabbed onto the hood of his robe and pulled him back, she put a few more coins on the table and a necklace of the highest quality. “I didn’t say you could leave! Look, we can drop our differences for now. Please, I need my kingdom- my treasures- back.” She pleaded, her voice choking up and trying to crack.

Licorice Cookie hummed, but really the sight had tugged on his heartstrings. The thing about only meeting someone in battle is that you never learn about them, only their weapon. For all you know, the soldier you’re dueling with could have a family eagerly awaiting his return or a dying relative he’s desperately trying to care for. “Okay… Maybe I’ll do it.” He finally conceded, cursing himself for caving into the hero’s demands, all because she looked sad.

“I’m not taking ‘maybe’ for an answer!” Golden Cheese Cookie huffed “C’mon, do your thing!” She started putting down more hold on the table, in seconds it was already covered with many a sparkly treasures. Necklaces and earrings, bracelets and anklets, coins and bars, goblets and the rest of the works. Licorice Cookie’s eyes widened, he had never seen so many riches before! In fact, he couldn’t even visualize what this all would’ve looked like for most of his life. Heck, it was still hard to believe what he was seeing!

Swallowing, trying to push down anything that suggested he was poor and-or needed the wealth, Licorice Cookie nodded. “Fine, I’ll get to work on it. But maybe not right now, maybe later.” He shrugged, trying to act nonchalant. Golden Cheese Cookie always despised the word “maybe” more than anything. If she wanted something, the only answer she should hear is a resounding “yes”!

“Fine, have it your way!” She scoffed, then immediately wrapped her wings around the sorcerer, “If I can’t pay you to do it, I’ll make you do it!”. Before Licorice Cookie could object, he felt quick hands with sharp nails digging into his sides. He couldn’t even try to suppress the giggles that erupted as soon as he felt the contact. “BWAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! N-Nooo!! Stahp!” He laughed, trying to wriggle away desperately. The radiant queen’s wings joined in on the fun as well, the shiny golden feathers were brushing up underneath his chin and right along his ears, making him laugh more shrilly. “EEK! HAHAHAHA!” He snorted between laughs “HAHAHAHAHA! BAHAHAHA!” He couldn’t even get a single word out anymore!

Licorice Cookie squealed again as Golden Cheese Cookie started raking her nails up and down his bony little ribs. He was smiling so wide that his cheeks were hurting already. “NAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA!” He just kept laughing and laughing in the sovereign’s grasp. Golden Cheese Cookie chuckled as well “Will you do my bidding now?”, Licorice Cookie stubbornly shook his head, “Oh really? Then I guess I’ll just have to tickle you more!” She grinned and doubled down on her efforts, purposefully moving her wings to brush and rub against him more.

Somehow, his laughter grew even louder! Now his gray cheeks were flushed with a pinkish-purple color as he snorted between every other giggle that poured from his mouth like a waterfall. Golden Cheese Cookie shook her head, her smile growing more fond than teasing, “You remind me of a certain subject of mine. He and I would always butt heads day in, day out! But he was quite ticklish, just like you.” She paused, her hands slowing down to a stop, “His neck was his worst spot. I wonder if the same applies to you?”. Licorice Cookie gasped and tried to break free, but he was being held in place by her strong arms, “N-No! There’s no need for that! Please!” He begged, but she already had her mind set.

With a deep breath, her head came crashing down onto the crook of Licorice Cookie’s neck with a loud “PBBBBTTT!”! Licorice Cookie squealed like a shrill little piglet, “EEEEEHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! OKAHAHAY!” He finally caved in and Golden Cheese Cookie let go. He embarrassingly fell down to the ground, heaving to catch his breath. “I-I’ll do it… I’ll try.” He conceded, sighing with defeat. At least the gold would still be on the table. “Aww, really?” Golden Cheese Cookie pouted “I just noticed how you’re barefoot-“ she reached down for him, but he immediately crawled away. “NO NEED FOR THAT!” His voice cracked, he then cleared his throat and tried to speak more professionally, “I’ll g-get to it. Just no more tickling, yeah?”.

Golden Cheese Cookie grinned “We’ll see, but no promises!”.

She felt a pant of deja vu when she said that. It was quite a familiar line. Probably because she said it many a times whenever that one subject of hers asked her to stop tickling him so much. Well, she couldn’t help it, darn it! It was so easy to grow greedy for another’s laughter, as there’s never another sound like it.
