what makes man a moral creature?

Humans built norms that insured their mutual benefit in their respective societies. Those norms are morals. Of course you may find the same morals in different societies but you know morals change when societies change. There was a time where you could reimburse murder through trade. Our society would say that murder is a crime against society and so we chose a new punishment for it. Not money, not trading goods.

Morals are an invention of humans and that's why humans are moral creatures.

I work outdoors. Now I'm not working naked, but I'll probably end up taking off my shirt if the temperature keeps rising.
