i bought a new lavender pencil (or "Bright Lilac" or whatever)

Doug Langdale: 'Originally, in early development, it was a tea house and they were hanging out at this tea house all the time. And someone at Disney was like, 'Kids... kids don't hang out at tea houses. They don't drink tea. This is a weird thing. Why don't you just do pizza? You know, Ninja Turtles. Everybody likes pizza.' Pizza, that's fine. Whatever. I think in the first script, we called it [Something] pizza. And I was like, 'I'm not really satisfied with that.' And we kept coming up with different suggestions. And I was like, 'What the hell? Let's just have it change every week.' So it was a different pizza place every week just because I could not make up my mind on what I wanted it to be. The pizza place thing probably started to annoy some of the background and prop designers after a while. Uh, but I was like, 'Come on, it's the same space! We're just dressing it up differently.'
