sydney williams has been in love once with her high school boyfriend steve. she never thought she was on his radar until one day during lunch, he asked her out, and she said yes. things progressed quickly from there. he was her first everything. first kiss. first love. the first time she went to a party, it was with him. it was all consuming for her and she fell fast and she fell hard. and for steve, it was the same way. the only problem was steve had a couple of commitment issues. it wasn’t that he didn’t love her. he did. but when it came to showing that, there were times where it wasn’t that easy. he was the cool guy in high school, the better than everyone else kind of guy. his ego knew no other bounds. and sydney? the opposite. sydney was more of a wallflower. kind. thoughtful. always putting others before herself. no one thought they would make it three months, but they made it the three years until graduation, breaking up one summer and getting back together a couple weeks later.

it wasn’t until university time for sydney came around that things got complicated. see, sydney wanted nothing more than to leave, to escape seven devils and make a name for herself somewhere else. she was tired and wanted to leave who she was behind. and steve? he didn’t know how to handle that. they tried. god, did they try to make long distance work. but soon enough, phone calls were missed and the visits were shorter, and eventually, he broke up with her. over a text message. she was devasated. but she tried moving on. moved to new york, tried to date some other people, but ended up back in seven devils only a few months after moving to new york city in the first place.

the asshole society

rhys crowley was not a nice guy in high school. he still isn’t the nicest of guys, but surprisingly, he has gotten better. this request is for his group of friends from high school who were just as terrible as him. at the end of the day, they all knew how to dish it out and they could take it from each other. if an outsider tried to mess with them, they had each others backs. they spent their nights drinking or getting high in one of their basements and generally just shooting the shit. they all had their issues that they never talked about, and there was a deep understanding amongst them that they never asked about it with each other. i’d love for most of them to still be close!  i just want rhys to have a tight knit group of people in his life who were all assholes. ages and genders are totally open here.

oh hi its me. back at it again with another request. 

ten years ago, will went missing. or at least, thats what his friends all thought for the first couple months when he wasn’t around anymore.  one day he was in the williams’ family basement with the others, playing dungeons and dragons. and the next, he wasn’t there and his bike was found on a sidestreet. they were devasted. confused. and the friends went on a mission to find out what happened to him. 

turns out, there had been a custody war his mom had never told anyone about. his father had fought, and his father had won. and his father was a part of the church of perpetual shadows. even his own brother wasn’t privy to the information, his mom unable to cope shut down which meant jonathan was raising himself, moving through life not knowing where his brother was. and it tore him about. 

eventually, the not knowing broke up the friends too. they went to high school and soon, will was a reminder of the past. he was always in the back of their minds, but they had to move forward. soon enough, they were graduating, and for a night they were together again, out in the woods by their old treehouse, drinking to the memory of will.

and for most of them, they had stopped looking. until a couple of months ago, will showed up again. for most, they had thought hi m dead. it was the only thing that made sense to them. but there he was, telling everyone in town who he was. and his story. how he had gone to live with his dad. how he had been homeschooled. how at eighteen, yes, he had been baptised with the church, but also how he made the decision to leave.

and now everyone is reeling from it. if they had kept looking, would they have found out sooner? would he have been living with his mom? would everything have changed? guilt for giving up eats at some of them. for others, they are trying to find out how the new will, how this older will, fits in with them because he isn’t the boy they knew. but he’s still their friend.

most things about everyone is open! the descriptions ive given are just some ideas to run with. id love to have this plot i think it’d be fun to work out with everyone.

 rhys crowley. 27. audio engineer.

to say that rhys crowley is an asshole would be an understatement. one of the “crowley creeps” he didn’t have the best of upbringings. he was always smart, but didn’t have the parental figures in his life to really push him to his full potential so he resorted to pretending he was better than others to hide the insecurity he had over his family life. he came across as nonchalant or uncaring but in reality, he did care. he cares a lot about how others saw him. lowkey a nerd in high school. didn’t push himself, because again, he didnt have parents who pushed him to be better and somehow became somewhat of a bully, despite his nerd status. he hated everything that reminded him of what he wasn’t: money and power. because he had none. while one of his sisters turned to drugs to cope, he closed off entirely. some might call him unfeeling and maybe he is. or maybe he just forgets that emotions are a thing and he is allowed to feel. but whatever lmao. moved to college (somehow managed to afford it though how he will never say) and got a degree in audio engineering and here he is. back again. taking the role of crowley creep very seriously.

TW parental death, absent parents to, alcohol

fourteen years ago, a group of kids entered high school and started a sport that would introduce them to a coach and a guidance counselor who would change their lives. coach davis would coach 

the team to three victories (none of them talk about the first year) until they graduated, some of the team never thinking that day would come. and now, ten years after their graduation, they are back to celebrate the davis’ wedding vow renewal.

so yes this is a plot based off of the friday night lights characters. obviously they don’t have to be carbon copies of the characters, just some similarities! and yes, whoever takes the lyla and the tyra i’d love to chat with!

teddy wilson aka the tim riggins. 29. grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. moved in with his brother during high school. never thought he would graduate and owes a lot to coach davis. was engaged to the lyla after graduation but began to struggle with alcohol when she went off to college and he stuck around at home. eventually their relationship ended and he spiraled. started seeing the tyra again recently and is still struggling. taken by kelsey

—- aka the lyla garrity. 27+. was always destined for bigger things. joined the cheerleading team her freshman year and was accepted to one of the top tier schoosl for cheering when she graduated. she has good intentions, but gets caught up in whats right. was raised in a religious household (whether she still is or not is up to you). broke things off with the tim when the distance became to much and has come back to town for the renewal. 

—– aka the tyra collette. 27+. did not have the most stable of households growing up and spent a lot of time at the tim’s house. briefly dated him in high school and still stayed there after the break up. knew she wouldn’t leave the town after graduation, but had a little bit of hope that maybe she would. is actually smart and could have gotten accepted if she had tried, but got stuck in her own head. taken by poppy

—– aka the jason street. 29+. he was the start football player in high school. people told stories about him and how he carried the team. honestly, the true definition of a leader in high school and pushed the rest of the guys to get their acts together when they got too rowdy or weren’t paying attention to what was at stake. got a football scholarship to a top football school and played for a year before suffering a career-ending injury and really struggled with the aftermath and figuring out what he would do for the rest of his life with being a professional out of the question.

—– aka the matt saracen. 27+. his parents died when he was a kid and was raised by his grandma. briefly considered dropping out of school his senior year when she fell ill and there was no one to care for her, but the davis’ stepped up and found care for her and supported him his final year of high school. didn’t make the best first impression when he started dating the coach’s daughter though. he was more of an outsider when he first joined the team.

o3. born to a wealthy family of old money and a business that had been in the lamar name since what felt like the beginning of time. the energy company started out small, with sabine’s great great grandfather starting it and passing the legacy on to his own son, who then passed that same legacy and company on to sabine’s father. and sabine grew up thinking she would be the next one to hold onto that legacy and make it her own too. but that wasn’t the way it worked out for her. misogyny is still rampant and her father chose to have her brother take the reins. while she had been busting her ass in school to get into the best business school in the states, her brother was clowning around, spending his days in sweat pants with a game controller in his hand, so when she turned eighteen and she didn’t get the internship and it was given to her brother instead, well, she shut down. she changed her plans on a whim, deciding to do the exact opposite of what her family wanted to do. if she wasn’t going to have the power, she didn’t want anything to do with it. so she took her inheritance and moved. cut off contact without a second thought and became a morgue attendant. the less she had to do with alive people, the better. for her. and for them. and here she is, not necessarily thriving, but doing a lot better than she was.

me?! coming at u with another request?? yikès. but this is a request for my girl sadie blake. she’s had a rough time lately. she grew up always being reminded that she was the reason her mom couldn’t fulfill her dream of going to the olympics. and then the pressure put on sadie to follow where her mom couldn’t go well, sadies home life was complicated to say the least.

which is where Luke comes in. he was her safe space away from the pressure. when things went wrong she knew she could go to him. and they were happy together. until sadie was at a practice, tried doing a jump, fell and messed up her hip. she’s in recovery, but skating is off the table, and she doesn’t know how to handle that. and their relationship started to take a toll. she started coming over later and later until she stopped showing up at all, forgetting dates, until she ended up breaking up with him one night.

she’s on a not so great path- covering up her fears of an unknown future and her dream not being attainable anymore with nights spent at a bar. and her biggest regret is ending things with him but she’s never been one to extend an olive branch or admit she was wrong. she’s hella sad and tries to forget him but she can’t. thing sad texts in the middle of the night, running into each other and trying to run the other way, her crawling into his bed and leaving early in the morning breaking his heart all over again.

I’d like this group to be 20-29 year olds just to make things easy and who I imagine rent out of the apartment. some have roommates some are singles and they can be changed around!

o1. nate carrington was born without a care in the world. his dad was a surgeon and his mom a defense attorney spoke he didn’t want for much growing up, but it gave him one hell of an ego. his attitude growing up wasn’t the greatest, but he didn’t have a problem with it. if he got into trouble? just throw a little money at the private school and he was out of it. and that attitude hasn’t really disappeared all the much. his future was planned out for him. he had to go into law. his dad would have loved for him to go into medicine, but it wouldn’t just stop at law. presidedency was his major goal. which meant there was a lot of work to do. and surprisingly, he did. he buckled down to graduate top of his class. and did it again to take the lsats to get into columbia. he’s sneaky and knows how to turn the charm on when he needs to, but he’s still a spoiled kid from a well off family who throws a tantrum when things don’t go his way. he will make a hell of a lawyer and that’s what he is banking on. he’s impatient and sarcastic but will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals.

is going to be a short request because honestly it’s pretty simple. I’d just like a group of people over 30 for max to be friends with. maybe some of them met in college, some met at the grocery store, who knows they’re all adults and they found each other and meet at “their” bar every Friday night to shoot the shit. im not going to put a big cap on this or anything but I’d like this to be a nice group thing with lots of comms and threads between everyone!

o2. sadie blake had the weight of the world put on her shoulder from a young age. her mother had been on the track for the olynpics before she fell pregnant witb sadie. she thought she could do both - be a mother and an athlete, but it didn’t work, and mama blake never let sadie forget it growing up. she also didn’t let sadie forget that skating would be her dream too. luckily, sadie did fall in love with skating. 4am practices were the norm. regular schoolwork was put on the back burner. if she had a competition and she messed up, she would definitely hear about it. but it was her lite and her dream, and as shitty as it felt sometimes, it was everything to her. until everything fell apart. she injured herself in practice. did the jump and fell, spent the next few months in recovery. but it wasn’t just physically she was injured but mentally too. now looking at the ice terrifies her. it was her future and now she can’t even put on a pair of skates. the girl who was once determined to do anything she put her mind to, who spent hours practicing, who would smile at anyone and strike up conversations is gone. instead? she’s partying. doing anything to forget how she is 23 and had her future in the palm of her hands. she’s struggling. and it isn’t going well at all.
