“No, you can’t pet my cat. He hates whiny bitches.”

The hero paused for a beat or two at the other’s words, then let out a noncommittal grunt. This was just… normal aftercare as far as he was concerned. It wasn’t special or anything. So what if Shinso thought it was something deep from him. “You need me t’ help out?” he asked as he lingered nearby once everything was to a satisfactory level. He may have been a bit more meticulous than usual, as if subtly attempting to indicate to the omega that he was a good caretaker and would make a suitable mate. It was just unconscious, just instincts. Right? Right. “Or you got it from here?”

“No, but thank you... It means a lot for you to take care of me like this... I have it from here.” His purple eyes linger on Bakugou, taking in his appearance and pairing it with everything that had been done for him.

Katsuki had been knee deep in his quadratic equations when Mind Fucker’s voice broke through his consciousness. “…Hahh??” 

He turned around in his seat and raised an eyebrow at Shinsou. “What the fuck happened to yours?” 

“It died a tragic death. His family is mourning his loss and his tremendous work ethic... Now, can I have a pencil or not?” He can’t help the smile that tugs to his lips with the question.

Shoto just frowns more at that, what kind of question is that? “I bring it up because I care and telling me to not care will not change how I feel?” 

“Thank you, but why are you so bothered by other people caring about you?” hitting the nail right on the head, Shoto mostly ignores the comment about his face being pretty. Shinsou said that before too and he doesn’t understand why he would think that but that’s secondary to him right now. 

Right now he’s way more focused on this feeling in the pit of his stomach telling him that something must be wrong with Shinsou and up and foremost Shoto cares and thus worries about it. Everything else has to wait. 

“You care? Don’t try to bullshit me. No one cares.” Hitoshi’s words are almost spit out at Todoroki. The idea of someone caring about him, other than Aizawa is a foreign concept for him.

He’s surprised at her invitation, unsure of how to respond to it. Hitoshi wasn’t actually their classmate, at least not yet...

“Uhh...”

His awkwardness is rearing it’s head as he considers her invitation, it would be rude to refuse... Wouldn’t it? But at the same time... He’s grown to never trust random invitations... for reasons, he’d prefer not to speak of.

( HITOSHI ):

       The blonde stood there for a moment, crimson hues wandering for a moment before his legs slowly brought him further into the room. It wasn’t the first time the two of them had been around each other like this. As he stated, being around the indigo haired male brought a calm to him that he hadn’t really felt before. It was… nice.

              ❝ Thanks, ❞ he said quietly, easily taking notice of the tired voice the other spoke with, taking a seat against the wall, head leaning back as he finally allowed himself to relax for what felt like the first time in a few days.  ❝ If I need to go… jus’ tell me. ❞

Hitoshi, as much as he wasn’t a people person, enjoyed having company. A person that could be next to him while he did mindless tasks in Animal Crossing with his teal colored cat eared headphones on... He didn’t need conversation.

Just needed gentle company...

Somehow, he’s found that with Bakugo, and he’s unwilling to question that.
