Genuinely sat there teetering on the edge of a panic attack watching Keir Starmer talk about how banning kids from social media will "give them their childhoods back" because I can't stop thinking about what it was like to be a lonely scared kid who can barely leave the house but still find friends who are just as weird as you and see youtube videos where people talk about being gay and web series where girls kiss each other and love each other and gradually start feeling like that is less of a shameful thing to want and I do not think this turd of a man has ever had to think about that kind of shit in his life

It doesn't get said enough: it's absolutely crazy how bad so many games, especially games with character customisation, are at 'doing' black skin. yeah I don't think we need to be this bad at this. Whenever I hear "Gen z doesn't bully people and wants the world to be better and they value authentic people" I just wonder where that Gen z was while I was in high school, because I never fucking saw that

my stance on the trans athlete debate is always and forever going to be that sports should be completely desegregated because humans have one of the smallest levels of sexual dimorphism in the animal kingdom and the disparity we see between male and female performance is entirely caused by social factors rather than anything biological. “should trans women compete against cis women” i think cis men and cis women could compete fairly but that’s apparently a little too spicy for people to wrap their minds around bc they’ve been told their whole lives women are biologically inferior & never thought to question that. or wonder if it’s maybe a self fulfilling prophecy of some kind. are women biologically inferior or do they appear so because patriarchy demands that of us?
