Li Ying Long Dau was once the prince of the largest tribe in Auj Oule, able to make men bend their knee and pledge servitude with a single glance. He had once been the second in command of the largest coup de tas in the nation, spearheaded by the greatest threat to the current regime since before they came into power. A renown strategist, the sharpest mind of the century, a skilled fighter and general.
Then it happened.
Li Ying wasnât even sure how it happened â one moment, he was on his usual evening patrol around the outer rim of the camp, and the next he was inside cell in a ship he didnât recognize. He was taken to a foreign land, and was forced into⌠this life.
Li Ying â Wingul the Nova â looked at himself in the mirror with disgust, wearing his Elympian attire. He had done his best to find his way back home; what these people did to their own land was no concern of his. However, his captors seemed determined to find a way to force him to do their bidding. It was bad enough that his traditional attire was forcibly removed from him. He let out an aggravated sigh and turned sharply to the door of his prison, opening and slamming it behind him as he exited the room.
How could one such at him be reduced to this? Li Ying refused to allow these disgusting people to take any further dignity from him.
Part of him didnât like the idea on escorting and watching someone they kept prisoner for being from a world they can only guess to be a legend. But then it was better than being stationed in Drellin just to catch lawbreakers and possibly execute them.
So once finally coming face to face with the person he was to keep an eye on he rested a hand on his hip, keeping up a more well behaved act for the time being due to the other guards in the room. âIâd like to say itâs a pleasure meeting you today but I really doubt you find any of this enjoyable.â Those were the first words that left his lips once face to face with the other male.
âMy nameâs Sindri. Iâm the one to keep an eye on you for as long as they tell me to.â There really was no reason to lie on such a thing. But then he found his own words boring with it.
Wingul looked over to the stranger, his golden eyes narrowing at his supposed âescortâ. Wingul knew why they brought him here -- the teen had already tried multiple escape attempts, and this was them attempting to establish some sort of dominance and prevent that from occurring again.Â
Like hell would Wingul allow some boy to scare him into submission.Â
âIt seems the fools here are finally starting to take me seriously.â Wingul stated, crossing his arms. âDo what you must to sate those in charge of you, but I will not cease my current activities because of your being here.â
