Late one evening a small redheaded girl wandered into Belle's library. Hope loved books and soon found one in Latin to read. There was a couch and a candle nearby. Taking off her magic dampening bracelet, Hope lit the candle with a gesture and settled in to read the book.
“That’s so cool! We haven’t had any vampires yet!” Henry told her and the front corner with Regina, Emma, and a few others visibly stilled.
Belle, however was listening with a kind smile. It was nice to see Hope happy after the tragedy she went through. “What did your parents do? For a living? Or I suppose hobbies.”
Hope got all quiet as she took a drink of her water. She didn't really want to talk about that. Mostly because it was her fault everyone died. Tears pooled in her soft blue eyes and she suddenly felt extremely tired. "Belle? I'm tired..... Can we go?" She felt like bursting into tears and she felt like everyone was staring at her. It was a bit overwhelming.
Belle went over to her and gave her a hug. “Alright, it’s alright. I’ll just get our food to go. Are you ready?”
The hug was nice and Hope leaned into it as she cried. A few moments later she nodded. "Y-Yeah.... I'm ready."
Belle placed her hand on Hope’s arm, got their takeout bag and left with her. “Anywhere specific you want to go or just back to the library?”
"Mm' tired." Hope mumbled as she tripped over her own feet. Exhaustion had hit her suddenly and she could barely keep her eyes open. "Wanna sleep...."
