I think one of my least favorite things about fandom sometimes, specifically the Harry Potter fandom is how often things can be forgotten in favor of shipping because I feel like there's so much emphasis on shipping culture and which characters are in love or the world building and exploration of the wizarding world that the heart of the books is forgotten. I genuinely think that Harry and Ron's relationship is the heart and soul of those books and movies, they're such soulmates and a lot of Harry's sense of self preservation or motivation to keep living and going is really because he hates Voldemort but because he has Ron and the Weasleys in his life to make him want to keep going. Their friendship is so beautiful and one of the only things the bridge troll ever wrote that was meaningful and introspective was the abuse that Harry suffered, the consequences of the abuse he went through at the dursleys and how the Weasleys helped him through that is actually so important to his character just. I fucking love Harry and Ron they're the bestest friends to ever best friend.

i sincerely hope that this Venezuela invasion will be another disaster for the US on the scale of Vietnam. i also hope that casualties on the Venezuelan side will be minimized. may ten thousand usamerikkkan soldiers die painful deaths.
