but like the vision... elizabeth, left destitute after the mysterious death of her uncle, works as a mistreated servant in the boarding house where she was once the star pupil and wealthiest attendee? she grows up into a poor, downtrodden adult but still retains all of her kindness, her goodness... and then the creature moves into the house next door, spots her through the window of her little attic room which is just opposite his own, sees her on the street... is struck not just by her beauty but by her kindness, the goodness at the heart of her... he's got more money than god (because he's been alive for like 100 years idfk stay with me here) so he sends little gifts across the buildings. a pretty dress after years of black dresses and too-small hand me downs, a warm coat after months of frigid cold, a meal after a long night of hunger... but he sends it all anonymously, in secret, because he's Shy... and finally through the magic of Plot elizabeth realises her nameless benefactor is the mysterious, tragically handsome creature she spies sometimes from her window and they FALL IN LOVE OH MY GOD CAN YOU GUYS SEE THE VISION? HELLO???
