DIY Hair Perfume

I put doTerra’s Lavender Oil on my face every morning and evening, just after I wash. The last time I got a facial, my aesthetician advised me to put the oil on. I looked up at her face, which was nearing sixty and looking tight and beautiful (and rosy and happy) and decided that she might be onto something.

She says to add the oil just after you wet your skin, so it absorbs more easily. Really, the oil is a lipid so it can go straight into your skin molecules, making them all fat and plump. Making your skin look young, happy, healthy. And this is what’s happened. You know, I used to have tired-looking skin and thought I looked forty though I was 29 (now 30). But, now, that isn’t the case anymore. I look more like my age.

What about adding oil to your face and having acne problems? I don’t know. She says that this is different. That it really is a misconception. What do you think?

All I know is I’ve been doing it twice a day, every day, and the results have been awesome. I add oil, then doTerra moisturizer in the eve. or sunblock in the a.m., and am ready to go!
