Talked with my brother for 18 minutes about religion and Jesus’ teachings after texting him for 42 minutes about what I can pray for him for.

This verse stuck with me

The backstory:

This evening I got out of Olga’s after a leg massage without temptation. We rode to Kroger and I got salad and fruit for tomorrow lunch at work. I love her. We had been dancing on the border of temptation and this scripture reminds me we shouldn’t be like the city, nor indulge too much, nor think too deeply into subjects that are beyond our understanding.

The scripture:

“It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to search out matters that are too deep. Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.”

I felt we had intimate moments today. I felt at peace with her

I feel God was there answering me immediately this morning.

I prayed for insight and I remember rushing water going down a great big gutter that was the width of a football field. My vision was at the front of the surge. I couldn’t shake the image in my head. All that water went to the plank that was in my eye. The water made me not notice the plank. It was comfortable and unnoticeable behind all the water. I then googled where to find the plank in the eye and have since read Matthew 7:1-12

Weekend

Thurs: cut grass, repaired bullet holes, picked out paint color, hung out with future mother in law, went to church with bae, met up with sister and her husband at brewery

Friday: slept in, sent pics to insurance, hit the gym, double date downtown

Saturday: work then drive south

Sunday: woke up in my hometown, went to nice breakfast, met up with Paul, toured HPS,went to downtown overlook and art museum, met up with Jesus and took photos, wedding, drive back home (slept)

Monday morning: workout

Getting married next week sounds too good to be true.

Should we cancel our July wedding plans and instead run away to the beach to get married next week. I can’t wait and neither can she.
