I understand it can be frustrating repeating yourself but it’s just as frustrating for us not being able to catch everything as fast as I can read lips sometimes I need help

ASL should be taught in schools

Like seriously I think ASL (American sign language) or any type of sign language should be a language choice in school. Just knowing the basics could really help and I think it’s important for hearing (non deaf) people to maybe know a few basic signs. I’ve seen more and more people learning it and I think it’s amazing. It would just be really cool if it was a language choice at schools.

This would have made my life so much easier. I lost my hearing as a teenager and being in a public school and then having hearing parents with no interest in learning sign to attempt to help me adjust, it was heartbreaking being told to “listen better” or “read lips” all the time is draining I had to learn on my own and by myself with only two friends even willing to learn a little just to help me...

Regarding the piercing you posted. I do think that this TECHNICALLY can be done, but whatever material those bars are made out of would have to be pretty flexible, not to mention this is probably custom made. I also doubt it would always look like a perfect plus sign, again, would need enough room to be flexible. So just so you know, might be achievable and I'd say never hurts to ask a piercer. But the end result may not be worth the hassle of the price. :/

My uncle makes custom jewelry for his shop and I figure it’ll be like any piercing it won’t always lay perfectly or correctly and I honestly doubt I’d wear jewelry like this over than for pictures just because of how careful I’d have to be so it would look more like four balls showing at each point daily
