Chris had no idea Leon’s condition was this bad—when he happened to see Leon secretly taking strong painkillers and confronted him. Seeing the black bruises spreading beneath Leon’s shirt, he felt sadness and anger.

The government is wary of Leon and Chris’s relationship and is keeping an eye on their dates. But since they’re so openly affectionate, the government will probably eventually decide to “use this relationship to their advantage.” The government believes that Leon will become a weakness for the BSAA captain, but Leon isn’t the kind of man who would let that happen.

One morning, as Chris was brewing coffee, Leon, still looking half-asleep, snuck up from behind and grabbed his chest, giving it a squeeze. Thinking maybe he was just being clingy, Chris started to turn around—but Leon smacked Chris's ass hard and vanished into the bathroom. Why did he do something like that—just because he felt like it, that's all.
