Hi there! I'm writing this on behalf of and with permission from a dear friend of mine, Harlie/Key, who is stuck in a really shitty situation and needs some help getting out. Please share! Copied from the original gofundme:

"Hello, Im Harlie. Im trying to earn funds to help my family move.

In December of 2020, my parents and I moved to another state away from our home. Originally, it was so I could go to college, only later to find out they would not help or accept disabled students like me. Our physical and mental health has declined since moving here, and we just recently found the root cause. The house we are renting has wood rot, water, and mold in the walls. We have been breathing in mold for multiple years. Our symptoms got worse when a suspected area's window was opened up to check on it due to an overwhelming smell.

Our landlord is not willing to fix this issue professionally or make sure we are safe. He has argued with us for years and has been retaliating due to us asking for him to maintain the house and check on the things bothering us, including that smell. We need to leave for our own safety but we do not have the funds to do it on our own.

I have a heart condition that has gotten worse since we moved in, with daily dizzy episodes over the past week. My mom is having a hard time breathing due to the mold. My dad can barely stay awake when he is home due to fatigue. We have been struggling with fatigue and other symptoms for a while, only for it to have gotten this much worse within just a week of opening the window in that area to check.

I'm requesting help, before this becomes worse for our health. Our landlord just says to deal with it or get out.

Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated and will go to moving; finding a new place to rent, a moving truck, and any other bills necessary for our health and safety."
