[Cari scoots over toward where the vent is. They dont think they can reach it but they start humming the lullaby they distantly remember from a calmer time]
[The crying quiets down a bit, the other subject starting to listen]
[D01 continues to hum the melody hoping it helps the other person enough that the mean man doesnt come in and get very loud. Hopefully their humming was quiet enough to not catch his attention]
[It takes a while but the crying stops eventually. Instead, they hear a voice]
