Come dressed to impress at Hwang Geum’s Masquerade Ball! The best of the best will be all dolled up in suits, gowns and masks to make this night truly one-of-a-kind and one that no one will soon forget. 

It will be hosted at Hwang Geum’s Community Centre and take place on Friday, April 17, 2020 starting at 7PM.

hello everyone! we hope you’ve enjoyed your break and are staying safe. we’ve put together some resources for you all in hopes that it’ll re-ignite your muse or, generally, just to help you out when it comes to creating plots and connections with others. 

the first, is for plots and connections. we know that it doesn’t come easy trying to get something started, and it may be difficult to brainstorm. for this reason, please find below some links to some resources to try and get a plots page going for you or, just to use when plotting and connecting with others. we remind everyone of our previous post about plotting with others and we thank you all for working on that. now, the next step to make sure you can spark your muse and keep it going!

please keep in mind when plotting that it is not just about your muse. some plots may work out that it has to be, such as being a victim in a certain scenario, but the plot should be offering something for them as well. remember that we are all working on trying to develop our muses and we all have to help each other out in order to get there. if it happens once in a while, it’s totally fine! like we said, some scenarios can only work that way but all your plots and threads should not be just about your muse. 

when it comes to plotting with others, please note that you are held responsible for your own activity. this seems silly to say, but it’s necessary since we have seen people constantly asking for plots while others are waiting on responses from you or in some cases, waiting on starters. if you have started plotting with someone, or you promised them a starter, you should be finishing plotting with them and posting your starters before you ask for more plots. frankly, it’s not cool and no one likes to be on the receiving end of it. 

we know sometimes when you can get a connection going, or even in cases where you find it difficult to plot with another muse because they don’t mesh with your own, it can be difficult to keep up with activity. please find below some links to sentence starter prompts to use for threads. it may be just for one time use or maybe you can get inspired for future threads and plots. however it’s used though, we hope that you find it useful.

we have heard your requests and we decided to offer this as an activity. mood boards! for those of you who may not be familiar with what a mood board is, please see the definition below: 

“A mood board is a type of visual presentation or a collage consisting of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition. It can be based upon a set topic or can be any material chosen at random. A mood board can be used to convey a general idea or feeling about a particular topic.”

that being said, we’d love to see more about your muses through visual representation. if you’re unsure what kind of a mood board to create, you can find some ideas below:

family mood board - if there are images that come to mind when you think of your muse’s family, put them together!

favourites mood board - colour, food, locations, hobbies, get creative and put them all together...or create one mood board for each type!

aesthetic mood board - you can show their attitude, their clothing style, their bedroom, etc. 

connection mood board - friends, enemies, lovers...if there is a connection between you and someone else, why not create a mood board?
