Solitude

I’m an observer. I read about life. I research life. I find a corner in a room and melt into it. I can become invisible. It’s an art, and I am a wonderful practitioner.

Do not judge me simply by what you see, even the sailor may underestimate the strength of the sea.

Words are shadows when attempting to describe profound internal experiences, and remember that shadows are subject to interpretation if you can’t see what’s casting them. Expect that not everyone who reads your words will see the same depths (or perhaps any).

Rather be weird and misunderstood than mediocre and accepted.

I can listen to everyone’s problems for hours and give them my opinion/emotional support. But when it’s my time to have an open ear, I feel utterly alone because I don’t even know where to begin to explain myself for others to understand me. I have always felt so different and trying to express my emotions to others is an ultimate fail. So instead, I seek it in music, writing, and other forms of art. Sad girl por vida.
