Restless I sit here. Night after night. Sunrises turn to sunsets while life itself stands still. I dream of places where money has no power and where shoes have become an excess. Where stray dogs have become a part of life. An important part. Where friendships arise from laughter by roadsides. Where elderly are helped over the streets, or where streets have no cars. Where the ocean feeds the village and the boats are glowing magically in the sun.    Restless I sit here. Night after night. Staring at the same screen as I have done the last couple of months. Where the alarm wakes me up so that I can continue my monotone life. Where time is spent more at work than the time sunbeams hit my eyes. And every night I promise myself - soon it will be different. But this soon has turned into an eternity. An eternity of longing. But one day I will sit there. Without the restlessness.
