19 year old Suzi Wu has released her first track ‘Teenage Witch’ from her forthcoming debut EP ‘Teenage Witch’. Is it too early to say it’s going to be a game changer? maybe, but with young talents like Billie Eilish bringing a new wave of slightly unconventional pop too our headphones we can't help but think Suzi Wu will have an (extremely successful) place carved out for her in the next few years. ‘Teenage Witch’ EP is due to be released on the 8th of September.

With guitar riffs that scream ‘The Cure’, simplistic drumbeats and a catchy chorus Cina Polada’s track ‘Gloom’ ticks all the boxes for your weekly indie dose.

London is finally having a real summer and Plastic Picnic have brought us a soundtrack to it! The first track from their forthcoming EP ‘Miss you still’ is made up of all the right stuff to make it the perfect indie pop song. Synths, infectious electric guitar and a drum beat impossible not to tap too all wrapped up in a bow of smooth heartfelt vocals. This is definitely one to add to your summer playlist.

Alongside the release of her third studio album ‘Something’s Changing’ (of which is a wonderful body work and probably her best album to date) Lucy Rose has shared with us a short film documenting her once in a lifetime trip to South America to meet her most loyal fans. She didn't so much as spend a penny on a hotel or even lift a telephone to book a venue, her faith was fully put in the hands of her fans (that had been asking her for years to come and play for them) to arrange free gigs for her to perform at in South American countries and to stay with them at their family homes. The outcome of this ambitious adventure was stunningly humbling to say the least. Lucy and her fans have helped us remember the true power of music and the gift to humanity that it is and for this we are truly grateful. That’s all you’ll get from us as we don't want to spoil it but it really is a must watch!

DUCKWRTH has teamed up with producer Alexander Spit to bring us a new wave of summertime hip/hop. The rapper from the west coast has brought us a a slice of their sunshine with his hazy guitar riffs and a drum beat that’s impossible not to head nod too. DUCKWRTH channels a Frank Ocean vibe in this refreshing new Hip/Hop track.

Australian duo GL (Ella Thompson & Graeme Pogson) have brought us our weekly dose of disco/soul/funk with ‘Reflect’. They seem to have a habit of making feel-good tracks that drown you in technicolour! This is one to jam to with your parents.

Soul personified! Sampha covered Solange’s ‘Cranes In The Sky’ at Glastonbury and we’re surprised our hearts survived it. A beautiful rendition by possibly one of the best singer/songwriters from the UK at the moment.

‘Someone’ is the second single to be released from Anna Of The North’s highly anticipated debut album ‘Lovers’ (out Sept 8). Cyndi Lauper-esque with hypnotic synths and drum beats Anna Of The North has brought us a slice of 80′s disco closers with a modern twist.

Mura Masa’s self-titled debut album is out on July 14th, and you can catch him this October (19th) at the O2 Academy Brixton.

Petite League have released ‘Sun Dogs’ a track from their upcoming vinyl record ‘Rips One Into The Night’ and yes it’s got those blissful rough and ready sun sizzled guitar compositions that the duo used to steal our hearts with in the first place. The short but sweet track oozes summer nostalgia something we will all soon be feeling, at least Petite League have us prepared!

Pop with an RnB/Electronica production sewn into one mellifluous track. ‘Sweetness’ is a strong debut single for Jaja Bu, and we’re looking forward to seeing what else is to come...
