Hi friends!! I finally got the courage and time to log back in after being on hiatus since Q4 of 2025!!!! Life has been good lately, and I can't wait to write and share about all the people I met, all the places I've been to and all the adventures I experienced.

Safe to say that I can never stop writing. No app could ever beat the tumblr crowd.

As the caption above states… i’m so burn out na. For context, I work in an accounting firm. My bosses are all cpa-lawyers or lawyers. It’s just a small firm but we have many clients. Problem is… walang system.

Walang job contract, walang JD, walang kahit ano. In the guise of “family”, ang lala ng workload ko araw araw. Mind you, 10 hrs yung shift ko. Literal na overworked and underpaid talaga.

Nung bago pa lang ako, grabe ako magOTY plus pinapapasok pa ako ng sabado. Lahat yun, unpaid. Ang saklap.

All for the glory, all for the badge on my sleeve to say that I came from an accounting firm— and that I survived.

What’s worse and that I can’t take it anymore— kaming newbies/young yung inuutusan araw araw. Pabili ng kape, kuha ng delivery sa lobby, tangina BUMILI NG FOOD AT MAGDISTRIBUTE NG FOOD. MAGHAIN. KUMUHA NG MADUMING PLATO AT ILAGAY SA SINK.

Tangina, yung kawork ko na 15+yrs exp as an accountant, porket walang license, pinaghuhugas na nila ng pinggan. Ang lala ng pinasukan ko.

Fuck— kailan naging trabaho ng accounting assistant ‘yun? Nakakabobo.

Ayoko na talaga. Gina-gas light ko nalang sarili ko to stay pero sobrang di na kaya ng employee morale ko. Nobody in my personal life knows na ganito daily na pinagdadaanan ko sa work.

Currently signed up for an examination I have yet to take on June and another one on Sep-Dec. Hopefully by March 2025, I’m out that fucking door. Unless maubos na ang pasensya ko at magwalk-out talaga ako.

finally home

touch down: cdo.

took an early morning flight to see the loml in cdo. it’s my third time to travel to cdo this year and he also flew to manila thrice this year as well to see me.

iba yung effort, gastos at emotional roller coaster kapag nasa ldr ka but all i gotta say is, ldr girlies up 🫶🏼

i think i’m finally clean 🥹🤍

november has been really tough on me and i went through so much. i had fought silent battles, privately, and to be honest i almost lost myself. i almost spiraled back to the rabbit hole.

i remember days, even weeks, where all i would do is sleep with tear-stained cheeks and wake up feeling emptier than i’ve been.

i prayed for the pain to stop, i prayed for the pain to go away.

and now, i’m happy again. i am able to look at the skies and smile again.

i am thankful that i am where i am right now and i am grateful that it all made sense now.

30 days left before 2024 and as early as now, i am praying for peace, stability and abundance.
