a safe space

I’d always say “if you need someone to talk to, I’m here!!” ALWAYS.

I want to be a kind of comfort to people. Someone they can lean on. May it be someone I’m close with or a complete stranger, I’d offer my shoulder and lend my ears with no hesitation.

Recently, I realized that no one has ever said that to me. Am I so good at faking it? Or do people just not care?

I feel like even if I disappear, no one would even notice.

Was I too noisy? Did I babble too much? Did they find my annoying?

I wish I have someone I can talk to and be reassured that it’s okay.

But why do I have these thoughts

I hate how I’m too scared to call someone my ‘best friend’ because what if I’m not their best friend?
