“B-ba-Babe” I slir into the phone, the music in the background blaring and making it hard for me to hear. “I-I’m dru-drunk And I don’t wanna drive. Can-can you come get me?” I ask drunkly into the phone, my brain fuzzy.

I hear him sigh on the other end before hearing him shuffling around loudly. “Where are you baby?” He asks as he grabs the keys, his voice annoyed but still soft. I tell him the location and he stays on the phone with me.

“I’m pulling in now babe,” I hear his car door shut and soon hear the booming music, through both ends of the phone, before feeling a light tap on my shoulder.

“Come on (y/n)” he says lightly wrapping his arm around my waist and helping me to the car, opening the door for me, and bucking me in but otherwise staying quiet.

“A-are yous mad?” I slur, looking over at him, my head resting against the seat.

“Babe, you getting drunk like that is completely irresponsible,” he says sternly. “Someone could have taken advantage of you or hurt you.” He says his jaw flexing at the though as anger courses through his veins. That is until he sees your eyes. “But I’m not mad at you. I’m upset with your actions” he explains lightly his hands tight against the steering wheel. “Now please, just give me some time to cool down” he says lightly, his eyes on the road as we make our way home.

I start to feel sleepy and feel my eyes flutter shut.

When we pull into the drive way he looks over and sighs, “so irresponsible sometimes” he mutters to himself, getting out of the car and coming to my side, grabbing my tired and sleeping form and carrying me inside. “I love you but sometimes you aggrevatebthe hell out of me.” He mutters more so to himself, as he slips off my shoes and wakes me up to help me into my PJs.

“(Y/n) you need to be more responsible next time and not get so drunk you can barely stay awake.” He says his voice stern. “You need to use your head and think about your safety. I glad you called me but I’m upset you put yourself i this position.” He explains, his voice having a slight edgebto it as he helps me get changed before tucking me in bed, and leaving to grab some pain meds and water and a trash bin.

“Sleep well babe, we’ll talk in the morning.” He whispers placing a small kiss on my forehead, before getting back in bed. His anger soon dissapearig and worry’s of ‘what if’ clouding his thoughts.
