So where in my post did I explicitly say I was disabled, or that disabled people cannot be ableist?

I said I’m a recovered addict with experience in this very real and very serious topic and that addicts like me are responsible for their actions past, present, and future in the interest of preventing addictive responses or relapses through trigger management. This is something taught to us in rehab.

alpine leaked things like court cases that someone there was venting about, and some other EXTREMELY personal details that people would never want out in the open because one of them even had a stalker. but go on, keep thinking that you’re in the right.

 except that entire chat was ok with his actions and kept him as a mod until rhea and him had a fight and then they finally agreed that “oh yeah and he’s a pedophile”

there was ONE mod who was ok with it because they were buddy buddy with him

everyone else said tldr "i dont think this is a good idea but youre the boss,” thats why we had so many mods/users that left (including me until he was out)

I didn't consider that just because I've found it easy to make gems without spending irl money, that others had the same experience as me. Although I have my own share of mental health problems, addiction is not one of them, and I should have been way more conscious of people who do struggle with it.

and apologies for any aggression on my end, my own family has a history of addiction, so things like this.. do easily strike a cord with me. i did feel like you didn’t want to acknowledge that not all folks can easily generate gems due to personal health issues, and FR does like to prey upon that in some small ways (actually just found out the which waystone pushes gem sales to new players who have it activated too!)
