It's a Burda longfic I've been working on for (I think) the better part of a year now. :) Thank you for asking and thank you for the compliment!

It's primarily a sort of recovery-themed look at everyday life, inspired quite a bit by Bulgakov's A Young Country Doctors Diary and also by Tolstoy's The Cossacks. There's an over-arching plot centred on family, but also a lot of focus on the mundane. I am currently at 30k+ words, and am aiming for between 50k and 60k. A few months ago I started a new job so progress has been slow, especially while juggling other projects, but ideally I'd like to have it ready in time for winter (though I think it would make excellent spring reading too). The plot is nearly complete. When it is up on AO3 I will make sure to also post a link here for anyone interested. Thanks again!
