A girl has to celebrate everything

Tonight I went to see Boy George and Cyndi Lauper in concert (!) Cyndi gave a great concert, but I am absolutely offended by the lack of respect from some of the people in this audience. You do not have the right to boo and heckle an artist sharing a part of themself onstage no matter how you feel. If you don't like it, leave. No matter how famous somebody is, they are still a person sharing a vulnerable part of themself for your entertainment, and that demands respect. Bless Cyndi for not apologizing and ignoring the haters and having a ball onstage anyway. And if you go see a concert, a play, a gallery, anything, no matter how you feel, treat those artists with respect for doing what they do - you would want them to do the same for you. Now go out and create something!
