Garden of Eden

This is technically my first real background...? But I'm think I'm satisfied enough with the little details I managed to get in there.

4. Kurt never had a problem with Eve's past as a joytoy. Unlike most people, he understood that survival often demanded choices that weren't pretty. He had spent enough time in war, politics, and Dogtown itself to know that people did whatever they had to do to make it through another day. Eve's past never disgusted him, nor did it diminish his opinion of her. If anything, he respected the fact that she had survived it. However, many tried to reduce Eve to the person she used to be, throwing her past in her face whenever they wanted to insult, provoke, or undermine her. Eve rarely reacted. Kurt, however, had far less patience. He made it very clear that he wouldn't tolerate anyone disrespecting her. More than once, people learned that lesson the hard way. To him, insulting Eve was no different than questioning her worth, her abilities, or her place beside him, and more importantly, he taught her something she had never truly believed before: she did not have to tolerate it either. 5. Over time, Eve became far more than Kurt's output. She became his closest guardian. The more she cared about him, the more protective she became. Between her deteriorating mental state caused by Iris's growing influence (that's the rogue AI's name that had coexisted with Eve since infancy xD this is the part of the lore I'm still the most unsure about, so I'm trying not to reveal too many details for now lol. It's also not the focus of this lore drop) and the constant fear of losing the one person she truly trusted, her need to keep him safe gradually became an obsession. Many feared Eve because of what she was capable of doing, but few realized that some of her most dangerous moments were driven by one simple thing: the possibility of something happening to Kurt. Is it cringe? I'm 99% sure it is. Do I feel better after posting it? Yes. Will I post more? Maybe.
