Well, currently there still is the draft system and only males are required to register. Is this right? - No. Perhaps if we open up dialogue about females being required to register as well, people will realize that a system which would render ALL Americans between the ages of 18 and 26 eligible for a draft is perhaps not the best idea for this country. Maybe a push in the wrong direction would show people the right direction.

Liu Ping is an human rights activist in China and has been frequently intimidated, beaten, and illegally detained. She is a Prisoner of Conscience and is now serving a 6-year term for publicly calling out the Chinese government on corruption. She is at risk for torture and there are serious concerns for her health.
Sign a petition to fight for the women and girls of El Salvador. In El Salvador, abortion is punishable by 50 years in prison and is considered aggravated homicide. It does not matter if a woman, or in many cases, girl, has been raped. Petitions will be sent to President Salvador Sánchez Cerén to urge him to immediately and unconditionally release all women currently serving sentences for abortion; to eliminate all punitive measures against women, girls, and health care providers; and to, at minimum, ensure safe and legal access to women and girls in cases of rape or incest, in instances where a woman's health or life is at risk, or in cases where a fetus is unlikely to survive.
