I redrew Crosshair from some cheetah images I found on Pinterest a little while back for this post and have been wanting to do more since then.

So:

Bonus Tay cuz I love him :P

At first, those initial photos I used for the other post just fit the prompt of those doodles, but then I thought about it a little more and realized how similar Crosshair is to a cheetah.

- I've been/am currently fixated on them - they're my favorites and I love them so much. - Both start with a 'C' :P - All the cat-like qualities that they both have - Crazy great eyesight (Cheetah's 'tear marks' under their eyes cuts the glare of their sun - Crosshair has enhanced eyesight for sniper reasons) - Claws are always out (Crosshair metaphorically, Cheetahs literally since they cannot retract their claws unlike other big cats) - Both lanky and lean in their figures - Are often mistaken for being deadly threats (because cheetahs are still technically 'big cats' alongside lions and tigers) but really aren't - though there's still risk since cheetahs are wild animals - Incredibly adapted to being the best at one thing (Cheetahs: running, Crosshair: marksman) to the point where they're not really good at anything else and it's damning to them - Struggle with anxiety and need support for it

Those are like,, the basics because I didn't want it to be too long. But anyways yeah - Crosshair's fursona is a cheetah.

Thinking about Crosshair and cheetahs again.

It's been a while since I've drawn an animal. Once upon a time nobody loved cheetahs more than I did. I still love them, of course, but I think I love Crosshair a little more. Just a bit.

Ok last update for character reference sheets lol.

But FINALLY full designs for Tay'kaa's moms and for Jung's Jedi Master!

I talked about Ko and Na'yeli before, but here is also a design for Ko pre-gladiator times, and for an older Na'yeli; which is when Tay meets her. I absolutely adore them, and I definitely want to draw more of them in the future.

But this is the debut of Kyaar Satriya! Aka Jung's mentor before they are reassigned to being a Temple Guard! Took inspiration from the tiger ('kyar' means tiger in Burmese and 'satriya' can translate to 'knight/warrior' in Indonesian) and the Takin for the montrals. I had so much fun with her design if you couldn't tell, lol. Jung's tattoos are in respect and remembrance of her as well.
