“Don’t,”
In his head he was louder, braver, even. But tears race down reddened cheeks, a stiffled sob of a cry bursting past strained lips as every part of his world breaks piece by little piece.
He never thought freedom would be so terrifying, the so-called sins of his hidden past miraculously liberating him from bullshit contracts, silver screens, and little white lies.
He doesn’t beg and he doesn’t whine, but he makes sure to never swallow his pride and remembers that these broken pieces will come back again, together and stronger than ever.
The sins of his hidden past try to drag him one last time, their pathetic little lies nothing but a nuisance everyone will very soon forget,
“Don’t waste your time,”
