On 01/19/2025, a real ceasefire entered in effect. The genocide took place much earlier than that, but the big "Main Date" will forever be October 7th, 2023 in the mind of the western world.

Remember when I said that there would be no ceasefire? I was mistaken. To be fair, they said it again and again, my suspicious and disbelief was only natural.

Changing the subject; thankfully, now people won't immediately be martyred anymore. But they will suffer famine, disease, and the knowledge that their worth as human beings, for the wider world, is only in how many numbers they can make go up.

Ibrahim is the latest famous palestinian in need of help. And he got it. But do you think all those famous tumblr users cared about him before he kept tagging them because they had a big reach? Do you think that, without those people, he would have reached his goal in such a short amount of time? What kind of lesson does that teach to a fifteen year old, one who is the sole provider of his family?

I want you to think about that.

A lot of news are circulating about a ceasefire going in.

I know it's fake. It's all just a lie. There won't be any ceasefire. The talk about exchanging of hostages? Fake. The opening of the Rafah crossings, then? A chance to kill more people. They've already ramped up attacks, it's what they've always done before pushing people into an even smaller area. It's what they've done since the beginning.

Anyway, political examinations aside, the ceasefire is all just wishful thinking; people's lives will forever be scarred, whole generations will internalize and realize that, under the right circumstances, the world will turn its back on you and let you die. Because thinking about your pain is inconvenient and sad.

How the only way to survive is via popularity. How the international laws are fake and useless.

You, reader, are a future victim of genocide. You, reader, will be fed propaganda about how disgusting a group is. And you will swallow it up. Because we are pigs first and humans never.

My friends are suffering and dying. They need help. Everyday hundreds of bombs fall, hundreds of bombs kill people and children over and over again. Infants are dying from the winter cold. These angels have known nothing else but sand and cold and the knowledge that 80% of the world does not see them as human, and want them dead. What do you think that does to a person? To know that they, fundametally, are seen by the wider world as a stain to be cleaned?

So I have a lot of plans for this year. 2024 is the year where I started my university courses (moving to a whole new city and learning how to live alone in the process), and where my book was released. It has done quite well upon release, though sales have died down. One could say that this year looks like a busy but bountiful one.

The same cannot be said for the Bilal family. You see, they are Palestinians, and out of everyone only Bilal (the niece of Mohammed and Eyad) and a few others were able to evacuate.

Hello everyone. This is Dennis, the person who's been promoting Bilal's fundraiser since August. I've decided to use this account more.

Bilal (@belalgaza2, formerly @/shadowyavenuetaco) moved to Egypt on day 150 of the occupation (March 6th, 2024) along with some of his family members. His whole family did not come with him, though. For example, his uncle Mohammed (whose fundraiser you can find here) had to stay behind.

While Bilal is not in imminent danger, he still needs our help. You can't deprive someone of water after rescuing them from the desert.

If you're worried about the veridicity of this fundraiser, fear not; it has been vetted by 90-ghost (here).
