Stupid. I’m going to do what Rachel said. Just welcome it. And let you be a natural part of my day. Remind myself that thinking about you doesn’t always have to be a sad occasion.

I feel very steady. 

So far, most of my 20s have been about constantly re-adjusting my viewpoints, doubting myself, doubting everyone around me, getting my head out of my ass, standing up for things I believe in, valuing my time, acknowledging my self-worth, doing things that make me happy. 

There is always some combination of these things happening at any given moment.

But despite this, I feel confident and sane and sensible. 

- Skincare routines. I get it now.

- The no-mascara trend. One less thing to do when I go out? I’m on board.

- Frayed hems on jeans. Because I can make my old jeans trendy again. Cool. 

- Smart jewelry. I got a Ringly. Less absent-minded checking of my phone.

- Clear-framed glasses. I thought I’d feel like a grandma. I wasn’t wrong. But I don’t hate it.

- Technical pants. Because I ripped another hole in another pair of running leggings. 

- Neosporin. Just because I get a cut doesn’t mean I have to live with a scar forever.

- made lots of bouldering progress - went to 2 (soon to be 3) dance classes - running more - reading more - attending (work-related) MeetUps  - meeting more city folk through volunteer events - saving money
