Today I wanted to write a long ass post about Dante's life and how important it is to learn it before approaching the Divina Commedia to have new interpretations of the text based on the past of the writer and his condition as an orphan who got married (probably) very young to a woman he didn't love to have a good economic position to support his step-siblings and how he started writing the Inferno while in exile from his city (whom he loved until his death) distant from his wife and his kids and his friends after an injust accuse and how he was in love with a woman he never actually met and how he was responsible for his best friend's death, but since it was too long I made a playlist <\3
