There is absolutely no option for the idea of further nuance here. This is a little more than annoying; and yes, I'm going to make that clear. This also blatantly ignores that people are against the terms BECAUSE of how people identify with them, as it is not just one person, but a multitude of folk who do id in ways that rub people off, and I don't get why you say that your poll shouldn't include that when there can be a problem with this, leading to others discomfort with the term.
We would be one of those folk with nore nuance than what you had allowed to be provided in this poll. Our system also knows someone (the blog's other mod) who dislikes transid terms for the mentioned reasons above. We also identify as transage.
We view ourselves - the whole or majority of the subsystem - as okay with the term, critical of how it's managed in the transid community.
We view trace and transabled as okay terms, even! But how they're managed can be bigoted, and my anti transid friend brings up a good point that it can become faking a disorder, which can be harmful, and this isn't getting into how it's frequently promoted. [ We're piecing thoughts on that, though, to be fair, but we DO get uncomfortable with people just full-on promoting disorder faking just because. ]
We're, in general, understanding of the usage of the term, know where it comes from, and even see some areas of hypocrisy when it comes to anti radqueer alternatives, or issues with a term's history, and that did lead to us becoming more accepting of transids.
The only transids we could never accept would be transharmful, transharmed, and especially transbigoted, because there is not only no viable reason to ID as such things, but there is also no viable standing for these terms in the community when they're hypocritical on these because of antis' retaliation. [ "Oh yeah! You know, transage people are their age, trace and transabled people are their race and disability! Not transbigots, though, and antis really need to understand this!" Nigga that makes absolutely no fucking sense at all. Paraphrasing but still, it's a common sentient, and it's hypocritical at best. ]
It's still important to talk about how the terms are managed because of what we mentioned, but also because of the fact that how they're managed does very easily become more correlated with the reason someone doesn't like them. In our instance, yes, we do separate the usage from the term, hence the "pro transid, community critical" stance. There are a few other anti radqueer figures that have a similar thought process.
Not many anti transid folk do, however, because of how easy it is to see the bigoted approach when it comes to some affirmations, and it's repetitive, it's frequent, and a problem since the radqueer community had become highly noticed on tumblr. Since 2022/2023, I'mma say..? Maybe earlier, but that was when I got introduced to the community, was in it for a few months, and then 2023 was when i got into the discourse as an anti after being taken off of the internet. [ Sunset paraphile/coiner, this is the only time I'm chiming in. - ๐ ]
Essentially; fix this poll, add more options. [ "only never transharmed/transharmful and transbigot" , "My beliefs have more nuance" ], and stop being negligent of others thought processes and opinions just because, as antis see bigotry in transid spaces because of shallow-esk searches with their bias, you only see the same problems in that very same shallow mannerism and biased view.
