Did some samurais today for lunch break.

Lately I’ve been inspired by Disney Infinity ‘s art style, I love the simplification, exaggeration and styling consistency they have on the whole toy line. Here’s my take on Indiana Jones (hey, he’s part of Disney now). Here’s hoping they’ll produce a figure of his sometime soon!

a few photo studies aiming for simplicity and a 2 hours self portrait. Feels good to switch gear from the 3D work and pixel art I’ve been doing professionally as of late.

Changing gears for a bit, doing some line/ graphic novel style work.

An old man sitting in a bench caught my eye on my way to the post office. Got back home, did a sketch, everything went downhill from there.

This is based of the legend of the Aljubarrota baker, a Portuguese lady that defeated 8 Spanish soldiers on her own that were hiding in her bakery during the Spanish-Portuguese war.

Some quick studies, focusing on shapes. The second batch was leaning towards a more stylized look. Fun fun fun!
