i wish i could message her but i know i can't. she's with her family. they don't know. one wrongly-timed notification could mean a future without her. i love her too much.

besides. it'd be good for her to be able to spend time with family. i know her family values that.

i know that... but i wish i could message her.

i want to be able to be with her. to hold her in my arms as i drift to sleep. to be able to wake up tangled together with her.

we've had sleepovers. multiple, yes. but those will never be enough. not until it's each other that we will be coming home to.

i know that day will happen. but i wish it could come sooner.
